Hey look! It's Mandy from the Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy! I was watching a bunch of eps recently and it made me want to do fan art. Mandy and Grim are definately my favourites but I really, really hate Billy xD Expect a Grim pic coming soon!

Anyways, you also may be wondering how I did this when everyone knows I can't draw humans for beans. Well I was feeling really discouraged today so I thought, "what the heck, I am GOING to draw a person, at least cartoon." So I tried for quite some while after finding a good source pic to look at and finally got it. Yay! So I CG'ed it then, and thought that cell shading would suit the picture better. So I puttered away at cell shading it. I actually like cell shading nearly as much as soft shading, so that was fun. And I didn't want Mandy to be floating in whiteness so I just did in my style the background shown in my source pic.

So yeah that's it. When cell shading I was trying a slightly new method that I got from ~SelanPike's cell shading tutorial; the method of using two shade colours and whatnot so that was fun. Plus now I don't feel so discouraged.
